We Are Back!

Not from a trip, not from anything fancy pantsy, we are back to the tech world. We have had computer issues recently that has prevented us from using our Internet for long periods of time before our computer just shut off...or just didn't work all together! Anyways, We're back! And back in style! So, what's new?
We have recently celebrated The Mr's birthday! We do "Birthday Weeks" in this house.
So everyday last week I had a special dinner and dessert planned out for him. Just something simple, but he chose everything on the agenda and menu.
Later in the week we enjoyed dinner with his family. We always enjoy time with his family! For his birthday, we had to wake up super duper early to celebrate. Like 4:00. Yuck!
For his birthday he wanted Harley. Well, that's great and all...but Harley was purchased a while back and my style of birthdays don't work that way! So, I got him a Tiger woods Wii golf game, a wood vase that he saw at Restoration Hardware, and I found at the Flea Market, and a "system" (I suppose that's what you call it). It's what he wanted and the game and the vase was like a mini surprise! Once he got home from work that night, we ate at one of his favorite restaurants, Shogun. mmmm! Afterwards, we enjoyed birthday cake and FRIENDS. You see, we joined Netflix a few months back for one sole reason. To watch all of the seasons of FRIENDS in its entirety. We are trucking right along on season 5 disc 3 now! All in all, I know that the Mr. really enjoyed his birthday week-long celebration!
In everyday news, we are just enjoying our life right now as it's in cruise control. I am ready to have a job, and I am continuing in my Waiting Place (Thank you Dr. Suess) I am in the process of getting certified to teach music which is apparently really easy cheesy to do, so more details to come later on that! We finally saved up enough money to purchase our Mac baby! We have been patiently waiting for this for some time now! Delayed gratification is good! Since I was a teacher, we received a discount for a free iTouch and one amazing hp wireless, touch screen printer/copier. I admit, I made a jump for joy scene in the Apple store when he showed me the printer. Me and technology are really best friends. So all day today I am stashed away in the office/music room transferring pictures from the computer that KEEPS shutting off onto this nice 24 inch iMac! Woo!
So, how have you been?

Lindsey, this is so random but we have had lots of things in common lately.....

1. My computer has been doing the same thing, just spontaneously shutting down for no reason. Is yours a Toshiba?
2. Mikey and I are also on season 5 of FRIENDS, but I am a fanatic and always have been so I own all of the seasons. We randomly go through them like every 6 months or so.......they are so funny and they never get old.
3. I read Oh The Places You Will Go to Aidan (youngest baby) yesterday at the doctors office.

I know this post is totally random, I just thought it was so weird!

P.S. I haven't seen you in forever (well actually I saw you sing at graduation, but that doesn't count because you were really far away), how have you been?

P.S.S. I watched Mean Girls the other day and thought of you.
