A Beautiful Shower

We recently celebrated a special upcoming birth of a new addition to our family. We were so excited to find out back in the summer that our cousin, Shelley is having a baby! She and her husband have adorably sweet twins. We were absolutely thrilled to find out about their new addition! When the seasons started to change, we immediately started planning this shower for her. She was not able to attend her showers for the twins, so we wanted this day to be extra special.

We put a lot of thought into what we wanted to do, how we wanted it themed, decorated, all the way down to the food she loved.

The day finally came and we were so excited to set everything up how we had dreamed it for so long. The day was perfect. Shelley was beaming the entire time and looked gorgeous.

It was such an intimate time with the women of the family. It was as if time stood still and we savored every conversation, every giggle from the children, every last bite of yummy zebra cake! It was perfect!

I am so glad that we chose to do this for her. It is a memory that I am so glad we made in our home. Having a baby is such a special thing. We can not wait to meet Shelby. She is a gift straight from God!
