Curing Cabin Fever

The joys of being a teacher include snow days! We have been having several recently! It is only Tuesday, and being in my PJ's all day both days has made me feel as if days and days have passed! This morning I decided to do more today than yesterday...not sitting on the couch all day. I called my fabulous Granny and talked to her for a while. She was in the best mood! This was nice for me to hear! My Granddaddy is very sick and so hearing her in high spirits was great! She says he's having a good day today too! I got her all time best vegetable soup recipe and that is on the stove smelling up my kitchen! Oo, it smells great! I also made Peanut Butter Balls! They are super easy! Paula Deen's recipe. 2 Cups of Dry Milk, 1 Cup of Honey, 1 Cup of Peanut Butter. Mix together. Form into small walnut sized balls and roll into powdered sugar, walnuts, or cornflakes and place on waxed paper and refrigerate. I chose powdered sugar for no crunch for my adorably picky husband! They are delicious! Enjoy this fabulously southern video for all you visual types! I am so excited, I got all of my pictures in the mail today! John and I were discussing how we take all these pictures and NEVER print them! Heaven forbid! So, we printed so of our favorite, and YAHOO I'm hanging updated pictures today! I can't wait!
Ya'll stay warm and cozy and hopefully I've helped cure your cabin fever!
