Sips and Strokes

Sips and Strokes is a local place that hosts ladies for a one of a kind girl's night out.  You can bring drinks and they show you how to create a painting.

You receive the paint, canvas, and everything else you need once you arrive.  They take you step by step and you have a blast along the way!  Lindsey C. and I signed up for The Wild Red High Heel.

We sipped, we stroked, and we sang along to the awesome 80's music they played while we were all working.  There were a total of about 3 huge birthday parties there and that was when I decided this is a definite girls birthday event for my birthday week!  (I love this picture.  It's a true image of how terrified I was at first!)

We had a blast together!  At first I was extremely obsessive and over stimulated and then once we got going I felt a lot better and was very happy with how it all turned out!  I can't wait to go again!

This past week has been my Spring break.  We didn't get the opportunity to venture away anywhere this time due to an insanely crazy work schedule on John's end.  

Instead, we decided to do the little things that we've been wanting to make time for.  I am so glad that I had this time off to get to spend time doing things that I don't normally get to do!

I got a lot accomplished, we made a lot of memories, and had a lot of fun!
Next stop...9 more weeks of work!!!! YES!
